Terry Pratchett dies at 66.
Another very sad loss this year. He was such a prolific writer, with a hilarious and enjoyable style, and a great knack for changing his writing to prove he could do more than just the Discworld series.
I have a signed copy of the Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents that I will cherish even more than before1.
- Even though it was very likely signed in haste, while swigging coffee, and in a mild state of laziness. Or maybe not even signed by Mr Pratchett. No one saw him sign it. He was late arriving at the book store and it closed. The nice lady said it was him. Was it her?
